The original. Everyone gets the same secret word – except the imposter, who sees that they're the imposter and has to blend in without knowing the word.

- Everyone looks at their card. The imposter's card says “Imposter” – with a clue if you've turned that on.
- Take turns saying one word that fits the secret word.
- Discuss and vote. If the imposter is caught, they get one guess at the word.
Tips
- As the imposter: listen first and say something broad that could fit many words.
- As the crew: be specific enough to prove you know the word, but not so obvious that the imposter can guess it.
